Green Street Festival: Welton Street Turns Green for St. Patrick’s Day in 

Historic Five Points Neighborhood

 

The celebrated Welton Street in the Historic Five Points Neighborhood is set to transform into Green Street in honor of St. Patrick’s Day. Norman Harris marks his debut as the newly appointed Executive Director of the Five Points Business Improvement District (BID) with the launch of this inaugural community celebration on March 16th.

Time: 11:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Location: Welton Street, Five Points, Denver, CO

 

What and When:

 

• 11:00 AM: Pet Parade registration opens at 2901 Welton St.

• 11:20 AM: Parade begins, with a brass marching band leading the way down Welton Street.

• 1:00 PM: Sonny Lawson Park (2401 Welton St) is the venue for a costume awards ceremony for pets, followed by a performance from a live band.

• Throughout the Day: Live music, food, and festive green-themed drinks at various spots along Welton Street.
